Don't let the Top Gear team bid on this item on eBay! A
giant limo made of 40 different cars and various other items is up for sale for
$950,000 (£642,000).
The giant limo is called the
Finnjet and measures 22-foot-long, weighs 7,500-pounds and includes a stove, microwave oven, mini freezer, a satellite TV, two air conditioning units and even a sauna to show off your latest bikini to your 10 fellow passengers. This custom desined limo is based on two Mercedes-Benz station wagons welded together although you need to look carfully to notice this.
It took it owner, Antti Rahko, from Florida, more than 10 years to build this unique limo using scrap parts from 40 different vehicles but he has decided to part with it and he's selling it on the famous auction site eBay.
Despite its heavy weight, the Finnjet limo will do a very respectable 25 miles to the gallon on a tank of diesel and has the latest technology on board including sat nat and electric windows.
The owner of the limo, Mr Rahko said: "I have been driving this car to Canada every summer from Florida. It is a very reliable car."
Finnish-born Rahko, who is from Kurikka, a town of about 10,000 in western Finland, moved to the States in 1984. He delegated his business to his son and retired to the Florida sun where he spent his time playing with old cars and visiting junkyards to find every gold part for his jewel on wheels.
After enjoying the limo in the States for so many years, he hopes to find a buyer who will keep looking after this great limo and keep maintaining it.
